Out and About - Things to Do
Taking it's name from the piece of land on which it is built, Grandstand enjoys superb views of the Trannon valley and surrounding countryside making it the ideal base for getting out and exploring the network of national trails, long distance paths and rights of way that open up some of the most outstanding scenery in Wales.
Guests also have recreational access to the garden and grounds, which run to some 60 acres and includes a newly established wildlife pond and a two mile long trail.
Other activities available in the near vicinity are Clay Pigeon Shooting in Trefeglwys, golf in Llanidloes and sailing and fishing on the Llyn Clywedog reservoir. There is also Quad and Pony trekking available nearby.
